Updated: Lady Pirates fall to 'Burg, Monday night basketball scoreboard

The Riverside varsity girls basketball team fell at Mechanicsburg 54-36 Monday night.

Senior Marissa Davis led the Pirates with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Riverside is 9-12 overall.

The JV Pirates lost 39-12.

The West Liberty-Salem freshman boys fell in the second round of the OHC tournament to Madison Plains 43-29.

Tanner LeVan had 7 points. Wyatt Cave added 6 points.

Jr. High finals:

The Indian Lake 8th grade boys edged Benjamin Logan 30-27 in the CBC tournament.

Lukas Schwieterman had 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Logan Evans added 9 points.

For Benjamin Logan, Alec Rodenberger tossed in 9 points.

Kaden Arn and Jase Stathas each added 6 points.

The Bellefontaine 8th grade boys fell to Jonathan Alder 49-22 to finish their season.

Drey Carter had 9 points, Gannon Purcell scored 3 points, and Hunter Grow added 2 points.

The Chiefs went 5-12 this year.

The Bellefontaine 7th grade boys lost to Jonathan Alder 37-18.

Jack Hutchins had 7 points.

Alex Caudill and Collin Deutschland each added 4 points.

The West Liberty-Salem 8th grade boys ran past Triad 52-30 in the opening round of the OHC tournament.

Christian Griffith poured in 17 points.

Will Motsko scored 10 points.

The Tigers advance to play Northeastern on Wednesday.

The West Liberty-Salem 7th grade boys opened tournament play with a 35-13 win at Triad.

Dylan Glunt had 10 points.

Gaven Wilcoxon added 9 points.

WL-S will play at Fairbanks on Wednesday.
